My husband and I stayed at the Blue Door last weekend in May. We both loved everything about our trip to Baltimore, especially the B&B and all the amenities. Our innkeepers Roger and Cecelia were very helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and we had the most comfortable... I typically pay $70-90 for hotel rooms, but the hotels in this range inside Baltimore had dismal reviews, so i took a deep breath + reserved 3 nights in the Washburn room (the only one left). first impressions were great: spacious room w/king bed; 3 chairs + sitting ottoman thingie; bathtub AND shower (separately; tub has handheld sprayer); supersoft blankets... Thank you for the review of your stay at the Blue Door on Baltimore. We appreciate your letting other guests know about our many amenity offerings. We (Cecelia and Roger) regret taking some time away during from the Inn during your visit and not having the opportunity to meet you. There may have also been some confusion on a couple... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Blue Door for several nights in connection with a visit to Johns Hopkins Hospital. It is very well-located near the hospital (7 minutes' walk), and is a charming neighborhood that has been substantially restored. Our room was comfortable, with all the right amenities. We were able to open the door to a... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at this charming and well located Baltimore B&B. The owners, Roger and Cecelia, are knowledgable and friendly. We were greeted with warm towelettes and given a great history of the area, as well as really good recommendations on where to go. I truly enjoyed their recommendation of the restaurant Salt- a neighborhood restaurant that... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Door and the hospitality of the owners. The continental breakfast we we offered was more than that. We had eggs made to order, they were delicious and placed over a bedding of baby spinach, what a nice touch. Plenty of breads to choose from. We'll be back. Thank you.

The Blue Door on Baltimore has made our recent visits to the city a real treat. It's proximity to Johns Hopkins makes it especially appealing to those of us needing an overnight or two while visiting a student at the University. Roger and Cecelia have created an inviting and extremely comfortable reprieve for travelers. Sparkling clean, well appointed rooms and... More

My previous review covered a lot of details; this one will just note that we have found all the wonderful qualities of Blue Door on Baltimore unchanged in the past year and a half. My husband and I stayed last time for a friend's bridal shower; this time, it was for her baby shower! We built an extra day into... More

My wife and I have stayed here twice in the past year. This beautifully restored Butcher's Hill rowhouse is immaculate, yet inviting and comfortable. We stayed in the Patterson Room both times, which has a private balcony. The chocolates and home-baked goods are a nice touch with the turndown service, and the breakfasts are also filling and creative. It is... More

We had a wonderful weeked at The Blue Door! A beautiful room, gracious and friendly hosts, fantastic breakfasts, nice people, Leopold the hypo-allergenic bengal kitty, and a 10 minute walk to Fells Point... what's not to like! The entire place is immaculate and every detail is covered. They even have two suitcase racks for the room, and it is the... More

I stay at bed and breakfasts regularly for work, and this is one of my all-time favorites. Beyond the hospitality, the beds are crazily comfortable, the turndown service is a lovely touch, and breakfast is delectable! I feel like I can really and truly relax when I'm here, which is nice when I'm traveling on business!
