We needed a place to stay in MD on a four-day drive from NJ to Florida. My mother had passed away, and we were heading south to settle her estate, in a very stressed-out and subdued state of mind. We too had been upgraded to the Tudor room, as the first room wasn't ready for our early arrival. I'd stayed... More

I and my wife needed a place to stay on a last-minute trip to Baltimore, and Gramercy mansion came up as a recommended B&B on TripAdvisor. We booked for a Monday evening and the front desk staffer had no issue with us coming in late. When we arrived, we found out that we had been mysteriously upgraded from the room... More

Staying at Gramercy mansion was a complete surprise. My dentist, Dr. Baylin recommended it, and although it was just a bit off the beaten path, it was well worth the adventure. I live in Manhattan, and I'm extremely choosey when it comes to accommodation. From beginning to end Gramercy Mansion rocked. I was treated with respect, compassion and efficiency. The... More

My 7 year old son and I have a goal to stay a week in each state in the U.S. We stayed at Gramercy Mansion during our Maryland trip. We stayed in some really nice places, and both agreed that Gramercy was our favorite accommodation. The mansion is absolutely lovely. We particularly enjoyed walking in the gardens surrounding the home.... More

This place is wonderful. The house itself beautiful and filled with art and antiques which made it a pleasure to walk around. Our room was great, all the amenities like bathrobes, coffe and tea, etc. Internet worked without a problem. Very nice grounds to stroll around, but we stayed in March and some of the grounds still had a round... More

My wife and I chose Gramercy because we have attended several functions here. On the Tuesday night in March, we were the only guests at the Inn - so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. After being warmly greeted by several of the staff members, and after a delightful visit several weeks before to look at... More

My husband and I returned for our second visit to Gramercy Mansion and it was just as wonderful as out first visit! I had made reservations to stay in the Aphrodites Retreat room, but when we got there we were very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Cassatt Suite. The suite is on it's own private level and has... More

After several very trying weeks on the home front, my wife and I decided to spend a weekend at Gramercy Mansion for a much needed rest.  Upon our arrival at approximately 8:15 pm, Jill, the concierge, greeted us very warmly and showed us to the Tudor room.  Just as we had begun to unwind from long drive, at 9:00, I... First of all, thank you for reserving a stay at Gramercy and venturing to try a bed and breakfast for the first time. We sincerely apologize for any disturbances that prompted you to cut your stay short. We feel terribly that your first B&B stay was not a more positive experience. While we do acknowledge that many of our guests... More

This was our first B&B and it sure will not be our last.. Easy check-in also ! Our room was nice (garden view) with the fireplace being a plus. Breakfast sunday morning was great! French Toast and our omlettes stood out the most. We had a short stay but with no issues. Thanks for everything! More

Stepping from the car after the drive down the long, neglected driveway, we noticed a number of paint cans leaning against the front of the house, half-hidden by the massive bushes. The entrance was drab and dirty with mail thrown carelessly on a table, as if the intendent recipient had long stopped collecting it. After ringing the doorbell and waiting... More
