We did not stay at the Inn, but after our experience in the bar would not even consider it. the food was averge. We arrived at the restaurant to find the door locked and were told by people who were smoking on the front porch that we had to enter through the bar. There was no one in the restaurant... More

I have been staing at B&Bs and family owned inns for over three decades and this was by far the worst experience for lodging (and dining) that I have experienced. I booked 5 months in advance in order to secure a room in the oldest, historic part of the building with a private bath and farther from the road. However... More

We liked the local barbeque. Nice environment. The waitress couldn't read the beer menu. But the beer selection was ok. My wife like the pasta. Portions were big. Historic picture were interesting. Place was clean.

Stayed 2 nights to visit Fallingwater and local sights. This inn is well located and has a good basic charm and cleanliness. Restaurant was outstanding with great craft beers, service and quality dishes. We stayed in the main inn in rear because of reviews of road noise. The road is incredibly loud but our room was quiet so no problems... More

The room rate ($99) and the "Beer, Bikers & BBQ" scared me a little as I looked for accommodations for my friends and I, attending Fallingwater's Twilight event last weekend. However, since we only wanted to stay one night, our choices in close proximity were limited by the two-night minimum in most places. So, we took the chance and booked... More

The room we had, had no smoke detectors, alarms or sprinklers that we could see. Creaky floors and smoke smell from kitchen down below. Blue cheese dressing in restaurant was awful. Pasta was swimming in oil. Breakfast was like take out at 7-11. Hard to recommend. Definitely needs work.

We stayed at the Stone House Inn for two nights in order to visit the two Wright homes nearby. Our room was in the main Inn which was noisy from guests on the first night and from the motorcycle party on the second night. The first thing I read was a guest comment about the ghosts which was rather unsettling,... More

This is NOT a bed and breakfast, just a reasonably good restaurant in a poorly updated historic building with some Darrell and Daryl rooms tacked onto the back. We'd have traded the jacuzzi which occupied half the room, for an actual armchair and a light over the lavatory. Bed was good, room nice and dark. Folks who are there for... More

Overnighted here with a small group (4 couples) after touring Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. We all stayed in the old section of the hotel as recommended by this site. Booked the overnight special to take advantage of the dinner coupon...$10 well spent. Wife and I had the Lincoln room. Clean and quaint, but the mattress was hard. Good selections of... More

We were cycling in the area & decided to make reservations off the Great Allegheny Passage. We were told that there were no rooms available in the old inn but they had rooms available in their new "modern" wing. Had we not been exhausted from riding & been more familiar with the area, we definitely would have been looking for... More
