We stayed here for three nights as a base for touring Falling Water and Kentuck Knob, ft. Necessity and other sites in the area. Mae's dining room has a nice menu and food is nicely presented and very tasty. Lobby is rustic and warm feeling. If you need help with luggage you have to ask for it, there are no... More

The rooms are cute and cozy. I felt at home, and very safe. The old fashion vibe is great, so different than any other place I've stayed...and I've been to many places. It was very clean and quiet. Not to mention the view! I love everything about this hotel. I feel like it's my home in PA. Everyone who works there... More

One of our friends was having their wedding at the Summit Inn and we reserved a room for the night so we wouldn't have to drive home. Pros: The reception hall was beautiful, the staff was extremely attentive, the food was excellent. The lobby area had rustic charm and was decorated very nice. Our room was clean. The views are... We recently stayed at the Summit Inn while visiting Falling Waters. The hotel feels like an old style ski lodge. While it was not luxurious, it was clean, cozy and the the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed sitting by the roaring fire on a cold blustery day. There are lots of interesting activities nearby for a day trip or... More

My best friend and I stayed at the Summit Inn on Oct. 10-11 2012. Reviews of the Inn we read prior to our visit varied from complimentary to negative, so we arrived with hope for a positive experience during our stay. Our hope was more than realized. The main porch was spectacular. The lobby was beautiful with several seating areas.... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped by for dinner at Mae's in the Summit Inn. The menu on line just doesn't do it justice. All the food was expertly prepared, the chicken pot pie with puff pastry was a delight. My husband had the T-bone steak, which he said was as good or better than any steakhouse. We... More

The Summit Inn was quaint with a grand entrance and porch area. However you have to enjoy traffic and large truck noise as are trying to relax. Room are dated, they have tried to upgraded bathrooms but just okay. Breakfast was order off menu. Would have preferred quick easy buffet. Service was great and friendly. They helped us find everything... More

Since it is obvious that there is not a large choice of convenient accommodations if you want to see the Wright attractions, this hotel is adequate. We were fortunate in having a large corner room with a picture window giving a fine view of the valley as well a king bed and a clean and functional bathroom. The ambiance is... More

My friends and I chose this hotel for its proximity to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, which worked out nicely. We were impressed with the lobby and porch, where we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the evening before dinner and enjoyed the view. Our room also had the same view towards the valley. The room was a bit musty, but... More

This grand old place has all the virtues of a grand old place, and a few of the limitations. As Richard S. said, "if you are old enough to have stayed in a mountain resort hotel in the 1950s, and still young enough to not need an elevator - or if you want to experience how it was - then... More
