We live south of Atlanta. Recently my brother and his wife visited from Oregon...we decided to show them the beauty of Savannah. I spent a lot of time choosing our "hotel" in Savannah as I wanted this to be a special trip...and it would be over our wedding anniversary. I knew I choose the perfect spot the first time I... More

I visit Savannah every few years, and Amethyst Inn is by far the best place to stay. Rocky and Jane made our stay even more awesome and welcoming. They went above and beyond with delicious eats, making dinner reservations in fantastic restaurants and outstanding rooms. Hats off to Rocky, Jane, Sarah and Chemise!!

My partner and I loved spending our weekend in Savannah at Jane and Rocky's Amethyst Inn! We booked at the last minute and are so glad we did. They are such a delight, so generous with their time and resources, treated us with such warmth, and saw to it that every detail of our trip was taken care of. The... More

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Amethyst Inn, breakfast was amazing, Rocky and Jane are extremely friendly and nice! They are very knowledgable of good places to go, and helped us to organize our day to our best experience. Their house is gorgeous and has a beautiful history. We stayed in Rose room, its very comfortable, very clean, i didn't... More

Rocky, Jane (or Jane, Rocky), Sarah, and Chemise were fantastic!!! The rooms were great and the breakfast was a fantastic way to start the day. They also tailored meals to any allergies you might have so you don't have to worry about that. The only thing you have to worry about is eating too much because the food they made... More

Four of us spent 3 days in Savannah, with the 2 nights at the Amethyst Inn. What a treasure! Rocky & Jane have a great house and are the perfect hosts for time in Savannah. They knew all the good places and easy ways to get there. From their many years of experience they could tell us what previous guests... More

We stay at B&B's because they have so much more character than a regular hotel, and this was no exception. The room was big and clean with all the standard amenities (we also had a balcony), and the location was perfect. We got up early and went for a run by some of the largest, most beautiful, and best-preserved houses... More

Rocky and Jane are fabulous...We had the pleasure of staying at the Amethyst Inn in April for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was our first trip to Savannah and Jane & Rocky told me right away they would make reservations for dinner for us and coordinated all our activities to include tour information.... Jane & Rocky go out of their... More

I have been coming to savannah several times a year since I was a kid and I have NEVER experienced anything like the Amathyst Inn. Rocky and Jane are absolutely amazing. You can see through their enthusiasm and genuine curiosity concerning things you wanted to see and do that they truly have a passion for their job. When I arrived... More

We had changed our travel dates, which meant we were switched from a more expensive room (the only one available when we originally booked) to a less expensive one (which made me happy). Just before our arrival, our host said we'd been 'upgraded' to a suite. When we arrived, we found the suite to be two bedrooms connected by a... More

You canceled the Rose Room a few days before you were due to arrive, because you decided you would rather go to Amelia Island and then come to Savannah. We did not charge a cancellation fee although your choice made it difficult to rebook the room. All we had left to offer you was the Hydrangea suite ($255) Because you... More
