A short two block walk will take you to the historic district and river walk area. Wear comfortable shoes for the cobblestone. Initial glimpse of hotel surrounding area would seem run down but it was nice and people actually said hello when walking pass them. Great price and location. Well done, Comfort Inn.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on our way south. The hotel is extremely convenient to the historical district. Enjoyed our stay, rooms were extremely clean,comfortable and there were no surprises.
The staff were courteous,friendly and extremely helpful and I strongly recommend staying here.
I might add the parking is free and the Tourist trolley picks at the hotel....

We'd give this hotel 3.5 of 5. The location is convenient to the Historic District if not really in it, but parking is free and the tour "trollies" stop here. There were no surprises and we were quite comfortable.

Very comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff.
Just a short walk from edge of Historic District and free parking.
Most other hotels require valet parking at additional cost.
Hotel recommended local tour for Historic District. Bargain for 2 days transportation. Picked up and returned to hotel by tour company.
