Good location nearby the subway station that takes you right into Manhattan. Checking in early was no problem, all it took was a phone call to housekeeping and ten minutes later our room was ready. Breakfast was too early for us, so no comment on that.
Summary: Good location, friendly people.

We stayed here for a week at the end of March and ,on the whole, found it good value. This was our third visit and we had learned to ask for a room on one of the upper floors which are much quieter at night and also a room at the front of the hotel from which the views of...

We stayed in this hotel couple of days ago. We are not pleased at all. The hotel was neat but too noisy. You can hear all the noises from the passing cars and also from other rooms. This place turned out to be a great value at $99 a night. It was also close to the subway and the complimentary breakfast was really great. The room was tiny but clean. I would stay here again.
I also liked that there were so many international guest staying there. Great place to meet different people.

They allowed us to leave our luggage in their office after checking out the last day, so we could go to Manhattan one more...

Kings Hotel was only a half-block from a Subway Station, making travel reasonable despite the cold snap that hit New York for my visit.
The reception desk folks were...

We weren't expecting luxury accomodations, but after being in the car for 12 hours we did expect friendly service and clean rooms. Upon arrival, we received neither. We were not greeted when we entered the lobby; instead we were made to feel as though we were bothering him. When we inquired about parking, we were told 'it's right there' as...
