This is a small, but very clean and friendly hotel in Brooklyn that was both safe and affordable. It is owned by an Indian family and they couldn't have been nicer. Again, sparklling clean and breakfast was good, complete with diy waffles. If you hit it right, you can park in one of the 8 spaces in front of the... More

Only stayed one night.Had reservations. Check-in and check-out was quick & easy. Hotel was clean, rooms a little small, but you are in NY. Lobby area really small. Breakfast was okay, basic food. Bathroom was clean, but did need more toilet paper. Not knowing the area this was a good first choice for a hotel stay, would stay again. The location,... More

In December 2011 we went for a short stay to the states. Because we already slept on Manhattan we looked for a much cheaper hotel en came out. The hotel is located in a regular neighborhood. The funny part of this hotel is that the have a saying: "Rest is Required - It's a fact: Well-rested people lead Healthier, happie... More

Came back to the bed after a shower to find a little brown bug I never saw before crawling. Tried to kill it & brought it to the front desk they offered 10% discount but showed no rush or interest to check out how serious the problem may have been. I am not a picky person but you could also... More

I ended up here unvoluntarily, having been sent here when the place I made my reservation at originally told me I couldn't stay there (see my review for the Union Hotel). It was very late at night and there was no parking available immediately. The room was clean and amenities fine. But the location of the hotel right next to... More

We've stayed at this property three times and had a totally different experience from the previous reviewer. The hotel is surrounded by warehouses, storage facilities, and light industry. These places tend to be closed on weekends, NOT abandoned. On first impression, the area is a little grim looking, but just a couple of blocks over, it becomes more residential. Just... More

Driving up to the Sleep In, hereafter referred to as the crack den, the first thing we noticed was the abandoned warehouses, razor wire fences, crack heads, bikers, dirty decrepit strip clubs, and hookers. After entering my room at the crack den my first instinct, after regaining control from the involentary gagging due to the smell of smoke, body odor,... More

Stayed at Sleep Inn Brooklyn for 5 nights, with three friends in December 2011. Chosen for the free parking and the price. Given the recent reviews, wasn’t sure what we were getting into. Overall, it was fine – I would only stay there if I wanted to access Park Slope/Prospect Park/lower Manhattan more than anywhere else, and had a car... More
