Joined 2 other couples for a weekend for hiking and cycling. Has a lot to offer for both (although cycling is for more advanced riders). Nice and quiet. When we arrived at Spirit Canyon Lodge Francis had upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom cottage with a lovey garden full of bird feeders. We were able to have our breakfast watching hummingbirds, finches, jays and many other visitors including a herd of deer. The other reviews are right on the mark. The owner knew the area well and made great recommendations for places to visit like the cliff dwellings nearby. Relaxing on the upper deck of the lodge watching the hummingbird traffic was perfect just before having a nice dinner at the restaurant right on the property.

Traveled with two other adults. All rooms have private bath/shower, are clean, and very comfortable. Rooms open into a large living area with a kitchenette area...sink, microwave, coffee pot (no stove).
