I chose this place because they had a beach that allowed dogs. We were also pleasantly surprised at the good restaurant food, terrific view of the water and the Blue Angels practicing, and of course, all the greyhounds and other friendly dogs. (we just happened to be there during the greyhound event.)

This was our third time staying with these lovely folks. They have always made us feel welcome and they make our dogs feel welcome too. Will stay with them again, in fact we already have our next reservation.

In April, GPAEC held it's 13th annual hound Dog Howliday at this hotel. If you are a dog lover you would have been in heaven. Older motel. Construction going on next door. The bed was newer and comfortable. Room was on second floor overlooking the bay. Complex very tried looking and needing an uplift. Would not stay there again.

For the price, this hotel is shabby & run down. .Heard that the hotel will be taken down & re built so no-one is interested in fixing anything.
