You came as a Stranger and leave as a friend. Nice Place to stay in Allepey, 5 minutes to the city and busstation and ferry pier but in a quiet small street. nice rooftop to chill out and the guys are very helpfull at all. its able to do a nice houseboat trip through the backwaters. Good kitchen!

Got met off the bus, and decided to take a gamble. Luckily it paid off as the hostel was clean, affordable with young, affable staff who were able to set us up with a few days in a small backwater village. These guys deserve to succeed, and if they carry on as they are, surely will.

The so far one and only real backpacker hostel in India. So is was a great change to the other places, especially due to the good vibe! The staff was super helpful with everything and always friendly but never pushy to get their commission. Excellent was the booking and planing of the houseboat trip, which I recommend to anyone.

Rooms are looking great, very clean and some with balcony. You can go on the roof-top like everybody does in the nighttime :D They are actually building a restaurant up there. Nice young crew! Prices are reasonable.

Lemon Dew is lovely. The owners are the friendliest guys in town! JJ especially is a generous and hilarious person. The rooms are cheap and clean. There is a really nice rooftop hangout space and it's all super chill. They organised a great canoe trip along the backwaters and meals with his family's village. Awesome stay, would definitely return.
