A delightful hotel indeed a real Royal Palace. The staff are brilliant with high levels of service, it doesn't take them long to know you, your name and your preferences in the bar or restaurants. Certainly not your modern box, each room is very different. The wonderful multi-quadrant layout was designed by a British Royal Engineer in the early 1900's.... More

It was my First Business trip to Kota. There is no luxury hotels in Kota. The best choice for me was Umed Bhawan. A Welcome Heritage hotel by ITC. Place converted to hotel. Not a Luxuty Hotel- The heritage hotel.Surrended by Nature ( Looks like forest) . You can enjoy Peacock dancing around and monkey playing around. Don't expect any... More

As the tourism season is winding down I suppose it wasn't surprising that there were few guests at the hotel, but it looked like we were the only ones rattling around in this large palace, now a heritage hotel. What made our stay stand out was the pleasant and helpful staff. Couldn't have been nicer to us. The hotel itself... More

Had a chance visit to Kota, the industrial capital of Rajasthan. The city otherwise gets not much attention as a tourist destination, even though it has a few attractions. Because of this reason it does not have 5 star properties. The only good place to stay in the entire city and around worth a mention is the Uday Bhawan Palace,... More

As everyone else states, this is part of a real palace. The rooms are HUGE...the bathroom and dressing rooms are also the size of small rooms. The food is just OK...we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this hotel...Nothing special..do not go for thr food, but to sleep in a palace..They had entertainment at night that was a pleasant surprise...Tell them... As the name suggests, this hotel was really a palace and now has been converted into a hotel as well a restaurant. Try visiting this place in the night. the six hundred meter drive is quite thrilling as if you are entering a forest or so. Once you reach here, no problems here after. The check in quite smooth and the... More

We had organized our retaler meet in the hotel & it was a crazy hot afternoon. After having travelled by road from Jaipur we were exhausted. we retired into one of the room in the ground floor & were only left wondering after looking at the space in the room; they were grandiose and only inspired awe. The display of... More

I went there for an official tour in Feb. 2011 and it was a 3 night stay. Well as soon as we entered it reminded us of royal lifestyle the Kings use to have. Truely kingsize bedrooms with all modern amenities. Food is costly but delicious and they offer a lot of variety to choose from. Best thing is the... More

I thought this place will be badly maintained assuming that Kota is not a tourist place. The place was much better maintained and had nice restaurant and bar. The rooms were spacious and a lot of history has been maintained there. Kota has options of many modern hotels but staying at this one will be a good experience. We enjoyed... More

This is a old palace converted into hotel (as most of Rajasthan hotels are). It has very spacious rooms, spacious bathrooms, incredibly quiet atmosphere (away from main road). The restaurant was average (no free breakfast on our package). No pool or gym. Basic chill out place. But what spoilt all was the check out - had to spend almost an... More
