Me and my friends stayed at Victoria Guesthouse 1 night. The rooms are clean and also cheap, the price includes breakfast. Very strategic location, right in the central of the city. Finding a place to eat is very easy. Friendly staff.

I spent two different nights on each room (203 and 404). There's something wrong with the ceiling in 203. It looks like the eater leaks from on ceiling or something. And the room is bloody cold (even if you turn off the AC). I stayed one night in 404 and I was quite surprised for the handle of the door of bathroom was broken and the spider nets on the corner of the ceiling of the bedroom and on the wall of bathroom.

No other words than say this hotel had strategic location, opposite with 'Gong Perdamaian' monument. You just have a short walk to Al Fattah mosque (the biggest mosque in Ambon) and easy to find food merchants. But the room not too clean, we have to ask the staff to clean the room because so many cigarettes butts under the bed. And the room has no window so there's no fresh air. Just best for transit (1-2 nights) not for long stay in Ambon.

Very centrally located, just opposite of the peace gong. Within a short walking distance to ambon's well known restaurants, the pattimura monument and the city square at the governor's office which gets lively with local crowd at night. Room rate very reasonable. Room size adequate, strangely the sink was placed outside the bathroom and by the bed. Wifi not working at all. We skipped breakfast so can't comment on that. But it seemed that they were serving some local snacks and tea. An important room tip: ask not to be assigned to any room that faces the street. The peace gong area is very lively at night and the noise would only go away close to midnight. The next morning at 5.30am the mobile phone credit counter across the street started blasting music at full volume like it was nobody's business.

Plus: - Strategic location at the heart of Ambon city. Near the Pasar Mardika terminal, walking distance to Ambon Plaza, 30 meters from Damri (airport) bus stop. A lot of places to explore during the day and night, all within walking distance. Traditional coffee houses included. - clean - helpful staff - you could order food from your room - aircon, hot water shower worked fine Minus: - one of the staff 'forgot' to mention that I could take Damri instead of paying 150,000 for taxi
