Stayed for 2 nights recently in a room that cost $40 per night. Great value. The room was clean and staff were great. Food in the restaurant ok. Handy shop right on site to buy supplies. Hotels location enables the chance to walk to restaurants close by. I love the Amed area.

The room was really basic and their was a hole in the roof of the bathroom. All the bugs can get in but we had a mosquito net and we didn't have any pb with them.. The swimming pool is great and the hotel is near the beach. For 20$ per night that was ok! Wifi only in communal area

At $40 a night, this is a pretty solid budget end place to stay. Room was clean and tidy, no a/c, but they gave us a stand-alone fan to use. No TV in the room. Hot and cold shower.. slightly musty smell from the bathroom, but nothing dramatic. There is w-fi, not super-fast, but manageable. Nice pool, which is great... More

We stayed here over New Year in three rooms. Two rooms were great, fairly modernised and clean. The third, while extremely spacious and boasting a verandah living area with daybed and hammock, was very dated with a musty smell and stains on the bedcovers. Towels smelled damp and the bath had been patched and had a water stain. Ask to... More

Large room but is up quite a few steps so if mobility is a problem may need to reconsider has semi outdoor shower but no shampoo etc we paid $50 AUD which was in off the street and in low season. We stayed in suite 2 but the views from suite 1 were better but there was no fridge in... More

I hate to disagree with some other reviews but we really enjoyed our meals at the Amed Cafe. We actually had a few meals there because we felt it had better meals to choose from and we liked the atmosphere, it was on the beach too. Yes the meals weren't as cheap as other Warungs but we thought it was... More

I think of most of reviewers have got this right. The rooms are nothing flash and over priced. We stayed one night before moving to Double 1 Bungalows down the road which is much better and cheaper. We had at Amed Cafe also which was overpriced and poor quality.

Room was nice, but you don't want a rat in your room. The first night I saw one and the next day we found clothing eaten by it. Old bathroom. We rented one of the two bungalows on the beach side. Breakfast was poor, if you wanted some bread with your egg, you had to pay extra. We won't come... More

We only had lunch there so I cannot comment on the Bungalows, but Amed Cafe was the worst meal and the worst service I experienced in Bali. The service was incredibly slow, not just Bali-relaxing slow, but neglectfully so. We waited for over ten minutes to be given a menu and asked for a chili sauce that never came. The... More

We arrived here by chance, & were told there was no air-conditioned rooms, so we opted for one of the rooms on the poolside. The mosquito net around the bed was good considering the walls & windows were a good 5 inches apart. The bathroom was below the bedroom and upon inspection seemed clean enough for 1 night. However, come... More
