Service were really bad. Nothing in the line of customer service... Good location but they did not know the first thing about taking care of backpackers... Try any other hostel on the street! To summary, excellent surfing, but you'll find better hostels!

Stayed for 5 nights at the cottages. Our room faced the pool. The room was spacious enough and clean. The staff are fantastic and the grounds immaculate, however the rooms are tired and could hear our neighbours through the walls at times. I have read other reviews prior to our stay and agree with the issue about the fence blocking... More

Stayed here with my husband and 17yo son, both are avid surfers and loved it here. We stayed in ocean view villas which were extremely clean but in dire need of a renovation. Beach is for surfing only, so I spent most of my time relaxing by the pool, which was lovely. Breakfast was included and was nice. My son... More

Good waves at the point, nice but old swimming pool, rooms need renovation quickly and the beach is sadly full of trash...and not forget is very expensive for Bali. Watch out for the locals...very aggressive approach out of the water.

My husband and I stayed for a couple nights. It is a short walk from the main road and overlooks the ocean. It is made up of a bunch of buildings with 2 rooms and semi-outdoor bathrooms. Our neighbors were some rowdy guys that woke us up at night and early in the morning but otherwise we slept well. There... More

I booked and paid for a room for this hotel two days before my check in date over Nypei (Day of Silence) here in Bali. Unfortunately I started to come down with flu the following day. I woke up the morning of check in and waited for a few hours to see if I might be OK to travel but... More

we stayed in late july 2011, self, partner and 16yr old daughter in a garden view cottage, found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, the staff were pleasant and unobtrusive and our room was always tidied when we were out surfing or walking the long sandy beach left of the rivermouth. The pool was clean and refreshing and the bar... More

I must firstly say, there is nothing to do in Medewi but surf and relax and absorb the wonderful balinese culture. Just what we were after..... Medewi beach cottages is just as described, a budget beach front property with a great pool in a quiet village. My hubby and boys 15 and 12 all surf, so for us it was... More

Hotel: Medewi Beach Cottages is beachfront in Medewi. We chose an oceanfront cottage so we could check the surf from the room as it was 15m from room to water. Unfortunately they have put in a fence of pvc bars that blocks most of the view but you can see it roughly. The room online was AUS$87 per night and... More
