Sorry but system would not allow me to write review for hotel I stayed at, The Holiday Inn Chateau Lymone. A one block walk from Burbeon St and some of the finest Restaurants in New Orleans. Had some serious food while there. One of the finest upscale was John Besh's Restaurant in Harrah's Hotel and Casino. One of the rare... More

We stayed at the hotel at the end of April it was very nice and being an Ambassador status with this chain we stayed on the club level. We had a nice room it was clean bed a little soft but nice location not to far from nightlife and shopping. I highly recommend staying on the club level floors. The... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights and was more than delighted with my stay. The service around the entire hotel was great, true southern hospitality. The location is perfect, as the French Quarter is right around the corner, maybe a couple of blocks away. They do charge for parking, something like 30 bucks a day. Fortunately, you can take... More

Found this hotel to be very nice. Didn't see obvious need for renovation, but perhaps we had one of the newer rooms. Had nice newer TV, bedding was nice. Elevators could get busy, but just at certain times of the day - near checkout and around time people were leaving to go to dinner. Location was the big plus for... More

Thank you for your review. Our location is one of the best in the city. You can easily get to all the attractions you listed. Jumping on the Streetcar is one of my favorite things to do on a weekend and take it up to uptown. I'm sorry you did not enjoy your breakfast. I will share your comments with... More

As a Disaster Recovery Specialist, I do the extended travel thing quite a lot. And since I travel to “disasters” I’m not always blessed with the best accommodations. So once in a while I like to treat myself and take the high road to a 4 star hotel, which is why I now find myself writing a review of the... More

The Intercontinental is a nice modern hotel. In New Orleans, this means that there is no damp, musty smell, the rooms are well laid-out and have modern electrical systems. When I look for hotels, beyond having it reasonably quiet, no odors, and clean, I want to have a comfortable bed. The Intercontinental has all of those. The room rate was... More

Thank you for your review. You have pointed out some of the great features of the hotel. We actually just installed the free wifi in the entire hotel. We are in process of putting in the LG TVs in all the rooms. That will be completed by the beginning of June. After that is completed, we will be upgrading our... More

We stayed in two rooms for two nights on two ocassions and were not dissappointed with the hotel at all. The beds were very comfy and very clean as were the bathrooms. The shower was powerful with plenty hot water and the A/C was quiet. The hotel is in a great position, right on the streetcar line and within walking... More

Good location with easy access to canal street and trolley. Short walk to french quarter and in a safe area. Didn't eat or drink onsite. Rooms are accommodating but could use new carpet. This was our second stay here and we were pleased. More

First off, when you're in NoLa you really don't spend a lot of time in your room, so it's not the end of the world. But this place is listed on various travel sites as a FOUR star hotel. Maybe it was in 1992, the last time they did an upgrade, but when I stayed there, it was a 3... More

We stayed one night- this past weekend at the Intercontinental on St. Charles. I have no complaints, and I'm particular about where I sleep and the cleanliness of same. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and sweet. We were greeted upon checkout and they remembered me from the day before... no lack of hospitability here. I called... More

Thank you for your review. It looks like you enjoyed your stay. I'm glad you got a room with the new TV. They make a big difference in the rooms. The streetcars do make a little noise as they go by, but that is some of the charm of New Orleans. Being on the streetcar line gives you easy access... More
