My husband and I stayed at the Lafitte Guest House with our 2 and 4 year old daughters. The location is perfect, right in the French Quarter but in a relatively quiet area away from the craziness of other parts of Bourbon Street. The house is lovely and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The kitchen is well stocked for a... More

LaFitte Guest House is a 25 bed hostel with beautifully appointed rooms, great customer service and excellent location! We highly recommend it out. We will be staying there again. Ask for Room 21! It is on the second floor on the front and opens onto a balcony overlooking Bourbon St.

I've stayed at a few guest houses and hotels around the French quarter but this is the best one by far. I loves the location and I adored our quirky little room. Tje staff was super helpful. I'm planning to come back next summer with my friends and family.

My family and I couldn't be more pleased with our stay at Lafitte Guest House. It was an experience outside of any hotel stay. The staff was welcoming, friendly and our level of service felt like a home away from home. The hotel was very clean and well kepted, the style and decor of the guest house was beautiful. Breakfast... More

We stayed in the attic room, with its hobbit door, for a long weekend. The room is enormous, though the low ceilings were a bit of a challenge for the 6-footer in our party. The beds were super comfortable, the furniture was lovely antiques. The bathroom was very well appointed and designed in keeping with the old style of the... More

The hotel was in a great location but distant enough that the noise was not prevalent or disturbing. It was really cute and the beds were amazing :) I loved it. We stayed at room number 2 I believe, the double room suite. And everything about it was just great!

First off, let me say that we had an excellent stay at the guest house and would certainly return! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family! The house was clean and tidy and had that New Orleans flare that we love so much. We stayed in the mansion balcony suite (room 22) and loved everything about it.... More

Dear Kyle and Melissa. I can't thank you guys enough for such a great review. It was certainly our pleasure to have had the two of you as our guests. To think that you'd now consider us your home away from home makes what we do seem well worth the effort! Please give me call when you're ready to return;... More

We stayed at the LaFitte Guest House for three nights during the French Quarter Festival in April and it was a delight. Why stay in a hotel when you can have this atmosphere? A bed and breakfast kind of feeling - the kitchen has drinks and snacks, great coffee and breakfast items. shared wrought iron balconies in the old house... More

At the quieter end of Bourbon Street, Lafitte Guest House could not be better located. Easy access to all the action, but quietly removed (except for the bar across the street). We had the Two Room Suite (31) which was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had a FABULOUS balcony overlooking Bourbon. Very comfortable bed, small bathroom. The full, common kitchen...
