My husband and I stayed at the JW Marriott hotel in New Orleans during the Jazz Fest. The location is terrific and the hotel itself is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the service is great. Everyone was very helpful. We will stay there again on our next trip. More

My husband and I stayed at the J W Marriott March 4-8. We had a great time and the whole staff was a big part of it. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to all details of our stay. I do want to point out two great employees, Kim at the front desk and Alfred at the door. They were... More

There must be some rooms at this hotel that have been updated and others that have not. Our 23rd floor king-bed room was beautiful and not tiny by any means. The decor was modern; the bath was almost all marble-tiled, floors and walls; and the bed was the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed in. Our view of the... More

This is not what I would consider a JW Rooms are clean but dated. Bathroom is tiny. Hotel staff is very friendly. There was no refrigerator in the room. We like to have one to put cold water ect in the room I was surprised, so I called the front desk and they told me they do not have them... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for a conference. It is a very nice hotel, perhaps not quite as luxurious as other JW's I have visited in other cities, but the location couldn't have been better. It was close enough to the conference center to be able to walk it, and just a short walk from the French Quarter and... More

Had a five day business stay at the hotel in April 2012 and found the place immaculately clean, roomy and the service very good. This is certainly a place that is interested in making your stay as comfortable as can be and deserves every star it has earned. But ... certain things bothered me. It seemed kind of odd that... Typical Marriott quality, but an awkwardly set up lobby, that lacks the warmth and charm, and maybe the quirkiness that one may find in boutique hotels in New Orleans. More

The Marriott now has very spiffy elevators that, once figured out, make it very efficient to get from the lobby to your floor. Check-in was fine but we were immediately hit with an up-sell to a room with a view. The room was small, bathroom was OK clean but not spotless, no refrig in room and there is a separate... More

The lobby bar service was my only true complaint; they just need more help. The ones they have now are fine, just over-worked. Otherwise, the rooms, cleanliness, beds, location of hotel are all great! More

The rooms were excellent; however, the bathroom was very tiny. My neighbors were very loud, but I was moved immediately and thanks to the kind staff it was a smooth transition. We were also given privaledges to the executive lounge for the inconvenience. More
