We are attending an event in New Orleans and embassy suites is the official hotel. This is a great hotel for a gathering...people can get together for breakfast and happy hour in a pleasant central location. BUT the rooms are awful!!! They are not only dated but dirty. I have read previous reviews saying that the dirt should be overlooked... More

The hotel is in a very convenient location for the Riverwalk, French Quarter, and Harrah's. Just a short walk away there are many shops and restaurants. There is a bus located at the Riverwalk that will take you, for $1.25, to various places in the area. The cost of a taxi from the hotel to Bourbon Street was $8. The... More

this hotel is well located and most of the front desk staff are lovely, but that is about where it ends. the property is very dated, and the decor is dark. the outside of the building is filthy, and the dark colors inside make it a bit depressing. some of the rooms require long walks and staircases between where buildings... we spent there 3 nights in the building aside with the lofts, a former sugar refinery fabrik. The suite was big, perfectly equipped and in excellent condition and with the style and flair of the fabric. Free internet, free drinks in the happy hour and an excellent breakfast made its to us for a excellent value for money. Parking is... More

I have stayed here a few times before and always enjoy myself. The Front Desk staff, Breakfast cooks and servers, & the Great bartenders always greet you with a smile. I stayed here when It was very busy with the French Quarter Festival going on in April, a must do if you have never been. A short walk to the... More

From the outside, the hotel looks tired. We were expecting a room with an interior corridor, but we got an exterior corridor instead. As for the rooms, they were somewhat liveable. The sofa bed had an old mattress, so it was lumpy. I killed a waterbug that was crawling on the sofa, and there was also a cockroach in the... More

I stayed at this property for the CTIA convention this year. When I travel domestically I try to stay in Hilton or Embassy Suite properties as they tend to be convenient for meetings. Check In: We arrived mid day, before check in time. We were attended to quickly, and I suppose since I am the person with higher priority I... More

Very disappointed with this hotel! Our room on the 2nd floor had one tiny window and was the last room on the hallway. It made the room like a dungeon! Lamp in the living room had no bulb and outlet in the main bedroom did not work. I should have requested a room change. Overall staff was very friendly except... More

I love this hotel because first of all it does cooked to order complimentary breakfast delicious! Then it has complimentary cocktails and snacks every evening from 5:30 to 7:30 for the Managers reception! Very friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful rooms that are clean. More

My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Suites New Orleans for 3 nights in April. We were there for business and the hotel is fairly close to the convention center but not within easy walking distance. The front desk and concierge were very nice and were able to accomodate us with an available room when we arrived at 10:00... More
