We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Storyville - we only wished it could have been longer! Our stay there came after 7 days exploring Cajun country - which was amazing and gorgeous, but after 7 days of living out of a suitcase it was lovely to be somewhere that felt like a home rather than a hotel. Our room... More

Storyville is very homey with a cozy, laid back atmosphere. The hospitality is by far the best. Barbara treats all her guest like family and takes the time to personally get to know you. Beautiful courtyard!!! Quite area and only a few blocks from the French quarter. Great lil bar near by called Buffas for some great food and live... More

Stayed for the second weekend of JazzFest, will not stay anywhere else in NOLA from now on. Full kitchen, big courtyard in the back for relaxing after the Fest. Plenty of parking, and the perfect location. It was a 20-30 minute walk (or cheap cab ride) to the Fairgrounds and to my favorite stops on Decatur. Barbara was the perfect... More

Stayed at Hotel Storyville for the first week of JazzFest. I will never stay anywhere else in New Orleans. Great location (especially for "fess") and a great room for the rate. The backyard is perfect for a (small or large) gathering of friends. Barbara is an excellent hostess/concierge/spiritual advisor/owner. Give her a call. You won't regret it.

Great location within walking distance of all the action with the bonus of a car park at the rear of the property which also boasted a lovely back yard area. I was hoping for great things when we arrived but I was just a little disappointed mainly with our room. It was ok but very dated & the decor was...odd!... More

We stayed at Hotel Storyville when we came to visit family in New Orleans over spring break. The manager, Barbara, couldn't have been more helpful. We loved our room, and, with two boys, especially enjoyed having a kitchen. We liked being close to everything, yet in a quiet area. The backyard has a small pond and seating areas - if... More

I just got home from a 3 nights stay in this lovely property. The location is perfect for being near but not in the French Quarter. Only a few blocks to all of the action and far enough away to offer a tranquil respite. The owner, Barbara, was a doll. She made us feel so welcome and was so helpful... More

We recently stayed at Hotel Storyville for a long weekend. It was PERFECT! The location could not be any better! It is just outside the French Quarter which was awesome. We were able to stroll in and out of the chaos but still easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. We felt safe at all hours of the... More

I stayed in Hotel Storyville for a work trip in March and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent, literally only a few minutes walk to Frenchman Street & the French Quarter and all it's bars and restaurants. Rooms were spotless and Barbara really was the best hostess you could possibly ask for. She went out of her way... More

Last week my wife and another couple stayed at Hotel Storyville on two seperate nights and we were exceedingly happy with both visits. As others have stated, the location is awesome. The proximity to both Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street (which is without question the better venue) make it a no-brainer if you're not looking for a five-star hotel. Even... More
