If you want to be in the gardens district, this is not the place. It's close but no.... However you want a sweet little courtyard, it'll work. Breakfast is nice outside....but no fruit on one day and donuts were just laying in a pile in a box for a sweet snack. Not sure about that. Don't go for the pool...

Charming hotel with historic feel surrounding a very pretty private courtyard with pool and hot tub. Located right on St Charles streetcar near the Garden District. Our room was a little cramped with so-so amenities but perfectly serviceable and clean. There is also no fitness center, although many people jog and walk down the streetcar line outside the front door....

We enjoyed this hotel. The streetcar that went to the French Quarter was right across the street ($4.00 a day fare allowed one to ride all of the streetcars for a day).
