My first time in New Orleans and a freind and I stayed at here its elegant place the staff are really nice and friendly. We've visited this hotel on two different occasions. Its in a great location and makes it easy to walk around the french quarter, to the square and waterfront, and to most places you need to get to. the hotel is huge, and there is diverse types of rooms. Even though we've booked the same thing each time, we ended up... More

Stayed here May 19 & 20th with a group of friends. Construction seems to be finished. Pool and courtyard are open, and looked great. The lobby/dropoff entrance is open at Iberville and Dauphine St. - The awnings are burgundy now with new name "Hyatt French Quarter." Every employee I spoke to was kind and courteous. My room's balcony ( which... More

My wife and I stayed here for Jazzfest this year. We got a great deal and were thrilled. I read the reports of construction and even called in to discuss the construction with the hotel management. After the conversation I was OK with having some construction in the lobby. Once I got there, it was good to be prepared. I... More

The hotel will be fantastic, great location for everything, however there is heavy renovations going on. The room was wonderful, but that was all. there was nothing else in the hotel available, nit even the courtyard. look for a cheap price for the inconvenience, and this hotel will get full star rating when it is complete. Ask about the construction!!! More

I would not discount this hotel if you're needing a centrally located French Quarter lodging. Bourbon street is steps away and most locations are within a pleasant stroll. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel website does warn that there is construction going on, but that is an understatement. The main entryway on Iberville is closed and one... More
