We stayed at the Prytania Park because the Prytania Oaks was booked up. Based on our previous stay at the Oaks we were looking forward to the Park. We found that it's cheaper because the room was smaller, not as nicely appointed, and the walls thinner. This was sometime annoying when people are in the outdoor areas and rambling around... More

Dear Readers, We appreciate all feedback, good and bad, and the indifferent. Let me quickly tell you why he feels this way as there is a clear difference between the 2 properties. The Prytania Park is considerably less in room rates than the Prytania Oaks, (anywhere from $20-$50 plus tax, less per night depending on room type available/chosen and booked)and... More

We booked a room with 2 beds & a loft and it was perfect for 3 of us. The hotel itself is pretty cool looking. Not your typical hotel with a tower & such. Everyone at the hotel was super nice!!! Aside from the hotel being cool, the location is awesome! You're not going to stay on bourbon street but... More

Beautiful, quaint hotel in the midst of the Garden District. Our room was the Old World Queen which was clean, bright and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and answered questions we had with a smile. We stayed for 5 nights in October 2012 and never had a problem. I fell in love with this place the moment we stepped... The hotel was very nice and reasonably priced for the area. We stayed for 6 nights and we really enjoyed it. It is one block away from the street car and there is onsite parking. It is very close too to one of the walking tours of the garden district. The staff is very nice and helpful. We stayed in... More

Located in upper Garden District, near St. Charles street car and a few reasonable eateries. Small rooms, very small bathrooms. Staff very helpful, continental breakfast predictable. The property has some charms, but I would not consider this a boutique hotel, more of a reasonable choice in a quiet area. We were warned not to walk all the way up St.... More

Dear Readers, I want to Thank you her for taking time out to write the review, but it needs direction correction in regards to the neighborhood. Firstly, To the size of the room she is describing, this was her 3rd stay with us, and this time, they choose to book from our website, the lowest price room we offer. Not... More

The Prytania Park definitely has the feel of a boutique hotel but without the steep price. I loved the fact that it was close to the St Charles Trolley and in the middle of the Garden District. The room was lovingly decorated and even had a fridge and microwave. My traveling companion was charmed by the loft bedroom in our... More

Stayed in this hotel for five days and have a lot to tell about this enchanting property. Location is perfect and many well-known restaurants of the city are just at walking distance. Both, the Interior as well as exterior of the building is stunning. The room we stayed in was one of the best accommodations; I have stayed in the... More

Booked five nights here with a Contemporary Queen Jr. Suite. Roomy sitting room with love seat, desk/chair, TV, small fridge, microwave and bathroom, with the bed in the upstairs loft. Great room. There was a back door to a porch facing the street to the east so got the morning sun. Location just a half block from the St. Charles... More

We booked this hotel for 1 (Saturday) night post-cruise. It was a good choice for this purpose. All of the French Quarter Hotels were really expensive and required 2 nights on a weekend. We were able to book the Prytania Park for 1 weekend night and we were given an excellent rate. The hotel is located on the edge of... More
