Nice, updated hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great price. Lovely room inside courtyard. Fantastic location - Bourbon at Conti St - right in the middle of all of the great clubs and restaurants. We will definitely go back to the Royal Sonesta the next time we visit New Orleans. High recommend itl.

We had a great experience at the Royal Sonesta. I can't say enough about the staff and the location is right in the heart of the Bourbon Street action. If you are on Bourbon Street (even without the balcony), keep in mind that it will be LOUD until at least dawn breaks.
