This was our 3rd time in Zell and previously had stayed at the amazing St Georg - so I guess my review must be tempered with that as not much could ever compare! The Lebzelter has a great location right in the middle of town opp the pro ski hire shop. It is an attractive Austrian building & has a... More

Hmmmm.... Where to start? Positives? Location-smack bang in the centre of beautiful Zell (more of that later though...) and stands proud as a beautiful building just off the pedestrianised square yet still only a 5-6 minute uphill walk to the city express gondola. Great bar area served by Monika who like the bar was very welcoming and quirky..Patricia on reception... More

I stayed at the Lebzelter for one week during mid march in a single room which was small, no balcony, small bathroom, single bed etc. It was adequate! Staying half board, I found the food to be pretty good, not restaurant standard but good decent fare. The hotel bar had a decent atmosphere most nights but I was disappointed that... More

I stayed at this hotel twice, mainly for the location and price, but NO MORE. within close distance there are very good hotels. next year i'm going to try one of them. The main problem with lebzelter is owners are very RUDE. I think they wish they were rather in another business. Even small requests get turned down and they... More

We stayed here for a week. Initial impressions were great with a warm welcome in the traditional style reception. Rooms were warm, spotless and spacious with good storage and a free safe. On the downside, the floorboards creaked like hell and bathrooms were tiny and very dated. By tiny, I mean really tiny - like 1m x 2m max for... More

Have just returned today, having had a week at the Hotel I have mixed views. I did find the Staff and Owners polite and always acknowledged you with a Good Morning or Good Evening. Although with a group, due to booking problems I found myself on my own at this hotel in a single room (304), even though I had... More

The hotel is in the centre of Zell am See, in sight of the old church. The walk up to the main ski lift station takes 5 to 7 minutes. The hotel has lots of character. Unusually, it has some single rooms, each of which has WC, shower and ample storage space. There is a room for boots (heated racks)... More

We stayed at the Lebzelter for a week from 4th February after our holiday booking for Alpe D'Huez was cancelled due to the company going in to administration. We booked with Crystal ski on a half board basis. The transfer from Salzburg took us right to the door of the hotel which was great. The hotel is situated right in... More
