Very friendly, clean and homely. Perfect location - right on the slopes Rooms good size with magnificent views. If I was to suggest one thing it would be not to make the food quite so fancy - it was good but sometimes too much with starters and soups and main and and and... It was great!

This is a very well run establishment perfectly located for easy access to the slopes. Spotlessly clean and excellent, abundant food. Our room was bright and spacious and extremely quiet. We found the owners and staff very friendly and polite throughout. While there is no pool, the sauna area is superb.

Despite some positive reviews below, if you are travelling with children, avoid the Alpenland like the plague. The hotels location is at the top of a steep hill, though you can ski in and out with access from a blue run, the place can be a challenge to access from the rest of Obergugl especially when the conditions become icy....
