I know this Pension VERY well and all my friends stay in it when they visit us here in the Rax Alps. Over all the other Pensions/hotels in the area Payerbacherhof is the most friendly and everyone is made to feel welcome. Heinz and Ina do everything they can to make sure guests are happy while not being too 'in... More

The Payerbacherhof Hotel is an undiscovered gem and I am loath to put it out there but here goes. Payerbach is a tiny town on the rail line from Vienna to the Semmering one hour from Vienna.
