We had a nice four night stay here but would highly recommend the owners invest in some TV's for the rooms for rainy days and for weather updates, since cell service was spotty for us. We had a wonderful experience with the Seavey's sled ride and seeing the puppies on the tour. It was a learning experience I'll not soon... More

We recently spent two nights at Cabin #4. The fast talking guy at check in told us to turn left out of the lot and take the second left - don't do that - and we had to back out of a dangerous road. After taking the third left, we found our lovely little cabin. The rollaway bed was perfect... More

We stayed 2 nights for the start of our 10 night road trip and just can't think of a more fun way to start the trip! The cabins are small, but cozy, super clean and surrounded by tall old pine trees. We had rain while we were there and it made it just that more enjoyable for some reason. While... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night after our dog sled tour. Even though there was no TV or Internet, we really enjoyed it. Good thing my husband brought some cards!! I recommend this if you don't need the amenities of a hotel. Definitely eat at Le Barn Appetit, which is just down the road. Bring ear plugs... More

We spent 2 nights at Abode Well Cabins at the end of August and the accommodations were wonderful!!! The cabins were cozy and clean and sleeping with the rain hitting the tin roof was the best nights sleep on the trip. As an Alaska Travel Specialist I would recommend these cabins to anyone who who wants to experience the "Real... More

Best cabins we've ever stayed in. Cheaper than staying in town, but only 5 minutes away. No reason to stay in town, it's better to be isolated a little bit off in the woods in a cozy cabin. Clean and gorgeous, fluffy comforters, a little table, a grill and fire pit outside, coffeemaker and a tea maker. We had a... More

I would highly recommend the Abode Well cabins to anyone staying in the Seward area. We were there 8/29 - 9/2. My husband thought it would be cool to stay in a cabin in the woods so I found these, and we were both very glad. They are very convenient for driving into town, but at the same time they... More

The Abode Well cabins really exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with my parents and family friends from Spain and rented three cabins - all three couples were delighted with their cabins. The cabins were cute and clean and had plenty of space, including a small sitting area with a table and chairs and a coffee maker. Just perfect for... More

We were pleasantly surprised at how quaint these cabins were. Very clean and well kept. We slept 3 adults easily. Had coffee on the porch each morning and sat by a campfire each night. The office with washers and dryers was an added bonus! We went on a tour of Iditarod and met the manager of Abode Well Cabins. She... More

The Seavey family provides a great place to rest and rejuvenate after exploring the Seward area. The tour of the kennels was very interesting and fun--how can meeting world class athletes and holding their puppies not be fun? The cabin was incredibly clean and the workmanship was impressive. There is a perfect amount of space and vegetation between each so... More
