My family of four stayed here before and after an overnight trip into Kenai Fjords National Park. Although this property has no pool, jacuzzi, or fitness center, and the computers in the lobby were non functional for both of our stays, my eleven year old son declared this the nicest hotel we stayed in during our ten days in Alaska....

We stayed here in Sept 2011 for a wedding happening on site.
Our room was plain and simple, but adequate. It was clean and comfortable enough.
The meal that we had at the wedding was out of this world. One of the best meals I have ever had. We also ate breakfast there the next day which was good (a...

We stayed there the last 5 nights of the season in Sept. 2011. Nothing special, no minifridge, no microwave, so your only choice is to eat out every meal. We are experienced travelers and accustomed to saving on food whenever possible. Very noisy from cars, other guests walking, and especially busses with "backup caution bells".
The location is nice, but...

Great location. The lodge is really nice. There is a great view of Resurrection Bay. It is a very quick drive to Exit Glacier. I wouldn't spend the extra money next time for a patio/deck since all we could see where pine trees, but overall it was a nice place to stay. If you like horseback riding, definitely book a...

Nothing special about this place. The rooms are comfortable but noisy. The grounds are fine and the dinning area and food service is all average. For the price you don't get much, but it was the summer tourist rate and there are not a ton of options when tours are in town. The bar area was decent and the conference...

Our hotel was clean and well appointed with limited coffee bar and food service, outside of the Lodge restaurant (evocatively named Resurrection Rendezvous). I would have appreciated if the group having the wedding did not allow their children to pull wings off of butterflies and otherwise torment wildlife, small and helpless as it is, while they got spiffed. It was...

Our four-plex "cabin" was very clean and though there was no outside noise we could hear the guests walking around the room above ours. We liked the fact that the Windsong is about a 5-minute drive from town; it wasn't a problem as the shuttle service is timely and dependable. The front desk staff is courteous, though not particularly outgoing,...

Unfortunately, we arrived at the Windsong Lodge after staying at the incredible Land's End Resort in Homer, and we were underwhelmed to say the least. we had seen pictures looking out over the river, but in fact the hotel is right on the road and the rooms are typical "national park" motel style. But the rooms were clean, the staff...

We checked into the Seward Windsong Lodge on Exit Glacier Road around midnight one night in July. It was dark and we had to find a place to stay and didn't know what the options were. We should have driven into the town of Seward and looked for something else. The motel room they gave us the key to was...
