This hotel advertises itself as European; but with bathrooms down the hall it's more basic than that. Hotel was realtively clean and neat, but old with with worn out furnishings. The price is right, the location great but old and old fashioned. More

I've stayed at The College Inn several times over the years and my experience has gradually gone from pretty good to horrible. I stayed there a few weeks ago and should have insisted on my money back (which I've never done) because it was so bad. When I arrived at 10:00 the clerk met me at the door, shoved the... More

This hotel is a great place to stay if you are planning on hanging around Seattle's University District. We went for a concert and the hotel's location was ideal. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. The hotel itself is clean. The rooms are well appointed; however, all rooms on a floor share common washrooms, which is a definite minus.... More

My husband and I arrive to The College Inn and we loved it from the first moment. It was just like going back in time! While we were waiting for 3pm (checking time) we went to the bar around the corner to have a beer and something to eat... great place!! Went back to the Inn, and checking was easy....... More

We loved its simplicity, cozy atmosphere, and European "pension" vibe. It's in a great location and is affordable. What more could you want?? Pretty ideal for me and my boyfriend. We strongly recommended. More

HORRIBLE room!!!! If you have any other options, don't chose this hotel! Service is nice. But you can ONLY check in AFTER 3:00pm, which is crazy! And the room totally sucks! It's like a prison cell! You have to share bathroom and restroom! The price is even more expensive than some two or three star hotels! We regret so much... More

We were scared at first--UW booked us here for a couple of nights while we came to check out the school and city for a PhD program. The phrase "communal bathrooms" doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. I thought we were staying in bare-bones college dorms. Wrong. Our room was huge--we got a corner room with two queen beds. There... More

Clean Comfortable and really easy to walk to Husky stadium. Great pub downstairs. Breakfast in the morning was very ample. Good free wireless which is a must. Bathrooms are down the hall but they are clean. Parking was not free but they had some options of where to go. The gentlemen working in the morning was friendly. More

If you need to be near the University, this place is inexpensive and the location is great. the problem is you may, like me, come home with a case of scabies that costs a fortune to heal. You'd be better off staying at the most expensive place around. Scabies is no fun. More
