Our room was wonderful and we were SO excited when we saw the kitchen. The reason we tend to book B&B's is the breakfast. They are such a treat and we really look forward to them. What a complete disappointment. If we simply wanted a nice room we could have easily booked a hotel that would have been more central... More

The location is wonderful both in terms of its environment in a well established residential neighborhood, filled with mature trees and other plantings (walking home from dinner one evening the fragrance of roses was lovely), and also in terms of its proximity to an area of good restaurants and shops, even a movie theatre. It is also only two blocks... More

My wife and took an Alaskan Cruise with my parents and came back and spent three nights in Seattle. We had the carriage suite and loft. Staff was very friendly and helpful in providing information and making sure things were going well. Rooms were great. Location is perfect with great restaurants a few blocks away. Breakfast was tasty and meeting... More

The B&B looks and feels traditional, lots of wood, staircases up and down, an upstairs balcony, a library room, a sitting room, etc. There is a large patio area with tables and chairs. It is in a residential neighbourhood on the corner of two quiet, narrow streets. Breakfast is at a large table though some preferred to sit outside on... More

We love the location; the established and green residential neighborhood is within easy walking distance of lively Capitol Hill restaurants, cafes, and a great movie theater. Getting downtown is easy either on foot, bus or taxi. The upstairs corner room, the Venetian, was beautifully peaceful with views of the blooming magnolia tree right outside the windows, but if aesthetics are... More

This B&B, located in the upscale Capitol Hill neighborhood is quite, clean, safe and established. Breakfast includes juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit and homemade muffins. Staffing is on the light side, but the home is immaculately kept; self-sufficiency is a helpful attribute. The only downside of our experience is that privacy was compromised given the close proximity of our "Venetian" and... More

This was a fabulous stay in Seattle. Located in a gorgeous leafy neighbourhood but still within walking distance to the city centre. Brilliant hosts and gorgeous breakfasts with homemade muffins daily. A lovely old house where you eat at a large family table makes it easy to meet guests and share travel advice.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Bacon Mansion for a single night in order to attend a performance of Wicked. Overall the Bacon Mansion is a lovely place. Beautifully decorated with interesting art throughought. Daryl and the rest of his staff were very friendly and more then willing to help us when we asked. Our room (the Emeral Suite)... More

We stayed here for 3 nights with a groups of friends and had a wonderful time. It was better than being guests in a friend's home because Daryl and his helpers did everything and had everything done so lovely. From the amazing breakfast, to a fabulous night's sleep on new and comfortable mattresses with lovely pillows, everything was just right.... More

I spent a couple of days in Seattle en route to San Juan. Being from Texas I wanted a pedestrian experience, and that's what I got. Bacon Mansion is a lovely old home, tastefully worn around the edges in the most cozy, and comforting way in an awesome neighborhood close to food, fun and transportation (I took the bus several...
