I was traveling by myself, and I was looking for a hotel that was reasonable in price and easily accessible to I-5. This place fit my needs perfectly, as I was gone almost all day and mainly only slept and showered there. There was no micro wave in my room, but there was a small refrigerator which worked great. The hotel is located in a nice area, and his ample free off street parking. I would not recommend it for families other than for an over night stay as it has nothing that would interest children, and the rooms are not large. My room could have used more attention to housekeeping, but I always travel with cleaning products so this was not a really big issue for me. All in all this hotel met my needs, the price was right, and I would stay there again.

We ave stayed at this Days Inn three times, mostly because it is within walking distance of our kids/grandkids. It is an older property in need of an upgrade but comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff are gracious, friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the internet kept dropping out.

I was visiting my boyfriend for his birthday and booked the hotel for 4 nights at the total price of $267. It was a good value for a three star hotel. We had a couple problems with the neighbors and internet, but we got to stay comfortable despite that. Would recommend if you’re from out of town and need a good place to stay for a long weekend :)

We booked a non-smoking room, and we were told the room we were given was "non-smoking", but that was very obviously untrue. Not only did it reek of cigarette smoke, the bed spread had cigarette burns. Evidence suggests they simply switched the signs from a formerly "smoking" room, in order to rent it as a "non-smoking room". Evidence also suggests that this was a deliberate short cut; this makes me wonder, what other short cuts are they taking?

The floors were sticky, most surfaces seemed unclean, the floor was literally unvacuumed, the shower curtain looked nasty. There were many things broken in the room, like the thermostat cover, one of the curtains wouldn't close all the way. There were cigarette holes in the sheets, and the bathroom door frame was broken. The receptionist was completely zoned out. It took him about ten seconds to acknowledge me standing in front of the desk, even though he was only looking at his phone. Then later, when I had problems with the internet, he wouldn't pick up the phone when I was trying to call. And even after going back to the lobby to resolve the internet issues, they didn't even fix the problem the first time. There is no microwave in the room, which is fine since there was a microwave in the lobby, but it was so dirty, it looked like it had not been cleaned in months, I did not want to heat up my child's food in there. The hallways literally smelled like weed.

Easy to access and near shopping malls and eateries.
Breakfast could have been better but overall, I was totally disappointed with the management. I was charged $200 as security deposit even though policy via booking.com states $150 and which is supposed to be refunded immediately upon check-out. Worse, they have refused to refund it despite constant follow up for several months (July, Aug, and Sept, as at the time of writing this review)

I just needed a clean bed to sleep overnight in but was quickly horrified with what I found. This hotel looked like it was being used by per hour customers.

Soiled sheets and pillows, scratched up walls, stains everywhere, dirty walls, scratched up counters, sticky laminate floors (room had no carpeting) and had “drops” of what looked like human body fluids around, phones missing buttons, furniture that looked like it came from the dumpster - it was pretty bad and I was charged $127 for this.

I ran out as quickly as I had checked in. I just can’t believe this is a Wyndham?!?! The hotel says enhanced cleaning measures? This is a lie!!!

Thankfully Expedia got me my refund back no thanks to the unapologetic staff there.

Horrible. Terrifying. This hotel needs to be shut down.

This inn is absolutely disgusting. First off, it looks nothing like the images (exterior or interior). The rooms are absolutely filthy and like something out of a nightmare. All the bedding had extensive cigarette burns. The pillows had yellow stains and fresh makeup on them. The mattress smelled of urine. My socks were BLACK after walking across the carpet. Dead insects all over the windowsills and carpet. The room was somehow humid and freezing all at once. Best part is they charge you a $150 deposit (that I still have yet to be reimbursed for). If something broke/needed to be replace it would be doing this hellhole a FAVOUR. You will literally feel safer sleeping in your own car.

Tired, old, run down, sketchy.
Breakfast wass trash, front desk was literally never on site. They didn't refund my security deposit and I had to go through a chargeback on my credit card. Cigarette butts under the bed and chair in a non smoking room and basically everything was either not working or broken.

Absolute trash. I feel would feel ripped off paying $20 for this trash fest, I'd recommend sleeping in your car over this place.

Recognizing that this is a two star hotel, it seems to me there were some very simple repairs/cleaning/painting that could be done to improve the “sketchiness” level. Things like replacing missing outlet coverplates, repainting behind well trafficked areas (ahem, the food area) that were clearly dirty. I didn’t know this was a thing but the pillows were toddler sized. Maybe that’s a two star hotel thing now? A good sweep of the floor would’ve been nice. The staff was friendly, however. The bed seemed clean. The room had an overwhelming smell of cleaner or detergent that wasn’t pleasant… However, I will chalk that up to being a two-star hotel thing.

Do you have airport shuttle also How far are you from cruise port

I don't know about the airport shuttle, although I do doubt they would have one. We took a Lyft to the cruise port and it was a fairly quick trip, though definitely not in the neighborhood.

How close is the shopping mall?
Answer from YasminEdwards
Escondido, California159 contributions44 helpful votes
If it is shopping mall, the closest is Northgate. This is north Seattle and you can catch a bus at the Transit Center that is located in the Costco complex or you can drive going I-5 South to Northgate. If you go to the Transit Center, ask the bus drivers and they will tell you exactly which bus to catch to get to Northgate. If you are 65+ and have the Senior citizen bus card, it is $1 for 2 hours when you ask for a transfer. Some bus drivers will ask for that transfer and most don't.
