We had a wonderful stay! Katie is a great host and made magnificent breakfast for us each day, and even a continental breakfast the day we had to get out very early. We stayed in both the North and East rooms for 5 different days each, and enjoyed them both. Thanks Katie!

my fiance and i stayed here for one night in november. katie our hostess was very kind but we would not stay here again for a few reasons. our room was freezing cold the whole night even though the heater was on (possibly because the house is so old?) the bed was said to be a queen but couldn't have... I was visiting Seattle for pleasure and business and stayed three nights at the Inn of Twin Gables. The home is in a quiet, safe, residential area of Seattle, close to neighborhood restaurants and near downtown. Parking was always available. I stayed in the East Room, which has a private bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. One morning, Katie,... More

Our room was charming, comfortable and clean. Our host, Katie, provided a beautiful home-cooked breakfast with fresh herbs from the garden. We drove and could park easily, but we also had easy access to the central part of the city since the bus was a short walk from the B&B. We will recommend a stay here to our friends.

We spent 4 nights during our apartment hunting trip to Seattle. It was so nice to come HOME after those grueling days and nights to such a warm atmosphere, while looking forward to an amazing breakfast to start the next day! When family comes to visit, we know where they will be staying; The Inn of Twin Gables. Our highest... More

This was a wonderful experience recommended by the Seattle Bed & Breakfast Assoc. We had a graduation to attend here and we live out of state. We fretted because few places were available on Queen Anne. Katie came through, comforting and accommodating in an immaculate and well appointed home. This was our first B&B; I learned that my husband sees... More

Katie, the owner, was the most helpful and charming host you could ever want to have in a Bed and Breakfast. Everything about the Inn was wonderful. I enjoyed the wonderful Breakfasts that both Katie and her assistant Michael made for me. The Inn was very charming giving you the feel of home. It was very quiet and relaxing both... More

Thank you for your input as it is always helpful to allow us to make improvements. In addressing your comments, yes, the rooms are small as they are the original bedrooms in a 1915 house furnished with chair(s) table and dresser or armoire, all with private baths. We have a nice living room for guests to relax if they wish.... More

The room was very small, with outdated decor, really small bathroom with tiny bath and hand held shower - and no TV or tea/coffee making facilities. Far from downtown, at least an hour's walk. Our host was friendly but not around a lot. Breakfast was nice but quite basic. Not worth the high price.

Thank you for your input. It is helpful to us in addressing problems and making improvements. I broke my ankle during the summer and regret that it was necessary for my helper to perform all the inn keeping duties as I was unable to walk until late fall, so could not cook or be available for guests regularly. I do... More
