I liked Lake Hood Inn's location near the airport because we were flying out of ANC at 5:30am and I didn't want to trek accross town that early in the morning. The owner, Bill is a delightful fellow who helped us out with other aspects of our trip. I would recommend this place to anyone headed to Anchorage.

The Inn is very cozy and comfortable, the host Bill was quiet entertaining. Love all of the airplanes flying, so beautiful. My 2 children and I loved this B&B. It's a house located at lake Hood (close to intenational airport), with wonderful views on the lake and sea planes. The room was nice and quiet; we had a good sleep. The owner, Bill, was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful (muffins, cereals, oatmeals, juices, etc.). We enjoyed a lot!

We got into Anchorage late, and it was so nice not to have a long drive to the Inn. There are food places nearby which was convenient. In the morning you can make your own continental breakfast anytime you want. The setting is fun, watching the planes take off.The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable.

We recently stayed at the Lake Hood Inn and would recommend it. The room was very clean and roomy. The kitchen provided all kinds of breakfast items which was great.
