I have been staying at the Western Inn going on five week's now, the staff is great, the rooms are clean, and your in walking distance of downtown Boulder City. I work all over the country, and this is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at.
BAD BAD BAD! STAY AWAY from this place at all cost. The "staff" and tenants are clearly on drugs. The rooms are very small, dirty and overpriced. Do yourself a favor, if you must stay in Boulder City and all rooms are full. Stay in Henderson (10 minutes away) or camp in the desert outside of town...
Price was 55$ (low season), which for a decent room would have been ok, BUT this wasn't the case. The "non smoking" room soon enough was clearly a smoke soaked room, very basic furniture to say the least, clunky room door and very dirty appliances, no coffee machine or boiler...I wouldn't recommend. The room was small but immaculate, with a full kitchenette (microwave, fridge, sink, cabinets): an excellent value since the room rate was low. There are two shopping centers with supermarkets and fast food two blocks away, and historic downtown Boulder City (with more upscale shops, restaurants, museum, park) is a half mile in the opposite direction.
