I'll start by pointing out that this quietly elegant hotel is also a clinic for people with skin disorders, so if that wigs you out, seek elsewhere. If not, check into this property and enjoy quiet elegance that includes its own private "Blue Lagoon," minus the crowds and overflowing with silica mud masks. Enjoy the meals they provide and the... We stayed in room 15 which is on the side that overlooks the lava field, facing the blue lagoon complex. Room was quiet, spacious and furnished to a high (although minimalist) standard. There is a kettle but no tea and coffee provided (other than some herbal tea bags). The hotel itself is very minimalist which complements the surroundings well. Its... More

We went to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and ended the tour in this hotel. It is an amazing, relaxing, and private spot. The private lagoon of the hotel is a great experience, and the landscape is great. Imagine to open the door of your room's terrace to see nothing but nature. Highly recommended. Adults only resort. The price of... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was worth every penny. The staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming (just like all Icelanders were). It's 6minutes walk away from the blue lagoon, I intitally arrived at the blue lagoon and the staff very kindly booked a car to drive me to the clinic/hotel as I had a suitcase. The... More

We thoroughly enjoyed having some extra time at the Blue Lagoon. The hotel is much more expensive than other hotels in the area or in the capitol but this includes breakfast (which can be pricey) and entrance to the Blue Lagoon (again, can be pricey). I was surprised more people didn't stay here and avoid the commute to the lagoon... More

We were so happy that we got to spend at least one night at this hotel; we consider that one of the smartest decision we made. What we loved is that we get complimentary access to the regular Blue Lagoon spa as well as the private lagoon at the hotel where most of the time, we had the lagoon all... More

Stayed for a night and enjoyed every second of it. Their lagoon is great, and we actually spent more time there than at the Blue Lagoon (which is a very easy walk from the hotel). The hotel is what you would expect from Nordic hotels, very clean and utilitarian. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast... More

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Lagoon Clinic for one night, located 600 meters from the actual Blue Lagoon. At first glance, it does not seem cheap at around 190 euros for two people; however, if you do the math, it's not that bad. The rooms are quite big for European standards, tastefully decorated and with a great... More

Hotel 4 out of 5, location 1 out of 5. Stayed here for one night as part of a trip to Iceland. Chose here for the same reasons as many people state that if you plan a visit to the lagoon, its not actually that much more expensive than other hotels if you take into account that you get free/...
