i did a summer course in Harvard.. i stayed at harding .. truly it's the best b&b in Cambridge...just 20 minutes walk to harvard university... calm and serene.... decent buffet breakfast... some asian items like egg omlette, idli / dosa etc., can be added .... clean rooms... service is good. free wifi... only drawback is lift.. ther is no lift...... This was an excellent location for us as a family as we wanted to be near the T to travel into downtown Boston to see the touristy things and also near Harvard to visit my niece in the evening.There are great diners and coffee shops around Harvard.I agree it is expensive but no more so than other accomodation and hotels... My husband, son and I recently stayed at Harding House and really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the bed comfortable and welcoming and the location was great (less than a mile from Harvard Square) We loved this visit and we will be back!
