our group stayed in the month of may and we had a lovely time at the hotel. the staff is good and courteous . the breakfast is elaborate and quite sufficient with a airy seating space, some of which is over looking the Boston. Rooms are ok and are comfortable with ipod dock on your bedside table. we had internet... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt last weekend to attend our niece's college graduation. The room was very expensive, and I was surprised that breakfast nor internet was included. The room has a strange flow. If you have the closet door open, you cannot enter the bathroom. I did love the large terrace and the bed was very... More

We splurged for a suite (since the rooms were so expensive anyhow) and it was well worth it. A very large space for our family. It was very charming that when the crib came, it arrived with a welcome kit for the baby with shampoo and baby powder. We were very disappointed, however, in the restaurant. The food was overpriced,... More

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge is like staying at any other mediocre 'chain' hotel. It may have been stylish 10-15 years ago but now it is seriously bland. The reason we chose this hotel was because it was near Jamaica Plain, where we would be spending most of our time on this trip. The hotel offers a free shuttle... More

It's my own fault! I should have checked with the two different travel agents who were arranging my trip for two different meetings but ended up booking into the wrong Hyatt Regency in Boston downtown when in fact I should have been at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. 2 hours in downtown traffic and $30 later, I eventually made it to... I had to stay here to attend a conference. It was nice to look outside the room's window onto the river, but it was so far from everywhere. I had to walk to get into Boston proper or walk to get into Cambridge. It is about a mile or more to the subway station. There is a shuttle to take... More

I was traveling to Boston sort of last minute as my daughter had been accepted at BU and we wanted to tour the campus during the Open House. The only hotel within walking distance of the college that had availability was the Hyatt Cambridge. $250 per night! I didn't want to rent a car, and so I rationalized the cost.... More

College tour with family. We received free parking due to college tour special. Close to MIT, Harvard, BU, NE, BC and many others. Shuttle was great bringing us to BU West Green Line T stop which then connects you to everything! Bring snacks!! Expensive snack food and no stores close by....which honestly is my biggest complaint. Would stay again! Kids... More

I spend two nights at the Hyatt Regency when I was visiting business schools in Boston and Cambridge. The hotel is in a quite deserted neighborhood overlooking the Charles river. It's a boring place but it's within walking distance (if you don't mind 20-30 min walks) from Harvard and MIT. Besides, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the... More

Even though this Hyatt is in Cambridge, we made many visits into Boston, which was quick and easy via cab. They always had cabs readily available and waiting, plus the hotel offers a shuttle service that we never used. It was not a luxurious Hyatt but was attractive with very clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The view of Boston... More
