This is a huge hotel just steps away from the Museum of Science. It's OK - nothing spectacular, but definitely a good place. There are two bars on the river side which are very nice, with good views and pleasant designed interiors. The fitness room and pool are also quite good, with a wide variety of equipment and the pool... More

When I received my booking invoice through American Express Travel Service, it said nothing about the type of room I had been given. I was looking forward to my stay in Boston, but my experience with some guy at the front desk left a bad taste in my mouth. Apparently I had the misfortune of being booked into an Individual... More

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston. We make every effort to share with guests what to expect from an Individual Traveler room. You should have received a confirmation of room category from American Express Travel Service that detailed (1) the room type and (2) the description. We want... More

Clean place, friendly staff. Parking is expensive, but then most hotels do charge it; Negative point - you can hear people outside your room; also, could hear the cleaning staff in the morning though they were obviously trying to keep it down. Hubby wasn't bothered, but I was woken up. More

A little pricey but it was the 100 anniversary of Fenway. Hotel is in a great location, very clean with a great service staff. We had breakfast at the artcafe which was very good. If you can get a break on the room price this is a great place to stay More

Not a bad hotel by any means, but my room was very small, very hot, and very expensive. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel room this small, not even in Europe. It was nicely furnished, definitely a 4 star property. The one big issue I had was with the AC. It couldn't get the room cold, and... More

Couldn't of picked a better hotel!! I have the great river/city view I have ever had staying in Boston. The food at Artbar so soooooo good. I got the sea scallops in truffle oil and Riesling wine (perfect combo!) it was to die for! I would recommend this place to everyone! Plus the cheesecake factory is right across the street... More

Overall a very nice weekend. Staff was very attentive to my children (ages 12 and 9). Our reservation over the Easter weekend included free hotel parking which was great. Made excellent use of the shuttle to and from Boston. A great convenience. We travelled from upstate New York with bikes and biked around Cambridge. The staff notified us of a... More

We arrived at the Royal Sonnesta a couple of days earlier than originally planned after changing our schedule. After Virgin Holidays completely messed up our revised plans, we arrived at the hotel at 5.30am and were greeted by Richard the night receptionist. Virgin had arranged an early check-in and confirmed that a room was available. Richard denied this and stated... More

We are sorry to hear that your first impression of the hotel was not a pleasant one. We did receive a request for an early arrival and made every effort to accommodate your request, however, since we were fully occupied the night prior, we were not able to guarantee the early check-in request. Unfortunately, when you arrived at 5:30 a.m.... More

Returned here three times already. Love the location fo the trails, conviently located across the street from a large mall. and the Science Musuem When we stayed the price was very reasonable and including free ice cream and bike rides. Love the valet parking although a little costly. The pool is a PLUS becuase in the winter it is indoors... More

We stayed at the Royal Sonesta with our two children (who are almost 6 and almost 4). It was fabulous. The rooms were clean, very modern feel. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating.
