The location was perfect for learning about Manzanar (the National Historic Site of an internment camp for many unfortunate Americans of Japanese ancestry during WWII) and other parks in the region. Yes, Henrietta is a very nice lady and the breakfast is OK, BUT...expect very BASIC accommodations at a fairly overpriced rate. It was very warm when we were there, with only a noisy wall A/C unit making it hard to sleep. Beds were just barely comfortable. We would have hoped for much more as our "camping" days are behind us.
