Do not judge it book by its cover or hotel by its location, near the highway but in no way a roadside hostel. The building is nice on the outside even thought the setting is a little scruffy. I stayed at the Abades as it is close to the racing circuit at Guadix. We were a large group, and at first sight we thought this hotel was more of a cheap motel due to it's proximity to the motorway and the large petrol station on the site. As a result, we were very pleasantly surprised!
