Right across from the beach. We had a room with a balcony, looking towards the beach and the walled town. It is a well refurbished old hotel. No cards to open the doors here! Use the big key! The staff is friendly, free parking, comfortable room... Great breakfast at reasonable price.

Stayed here several times now, usually just for one or two nights whilst driving from Madrid to Barcelona. Its a trip that i do around three times a year.
The Hotel is right on the seafront of Peniscola, which is the most amazing little town. Its famous for the film of El Cid, with Charlton Heston from the 60's, which...

Third time we've stayed here for just a "passing through" overnight, always out of season. Rooms are spacious, quiet, sea views, good bathroom. Sea front location within walking distance of town centre, good food, ample secure parking, pleasant atmosphere, and a building with historical interest in a resort well worth exploring.

We had being to Peniscola once before and thought if we ever came back that way, we'd stay, - mainly because of Castle that was used as back ground in ' El Cid '.
We arrived on bitterly cold and wet day and cruised the Beach front looking at the offerings. We liked look of Del Mar so parked. Up...
