We stayed at Pollaughan Farm with our two young children as part of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect family getaway. We stayed in Meadows cottage, which was large and spacious inside, with the added benefit of an enclosed garden for the kids to play in that overlooked the duck pond. Everything we needed for a family holiday was... More

Well what can I say...this has been the best holiday I have ever had! On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Valerie who showed us to our cottage, The Farmhouse, and my Husband and I were so surprised at how gorgeous it was. Real 'home from home' We had books, toys, fudge, a bottle of wine, shortbread biscuits, a... More

We have stayed at Pollaughan 4 times so far. We love it. The cottages are all very comfortable and very well equipped. All have fantastic views and their own private gardens. The attention to detail is great: books to read, toys and games for the children, DVD's to watch, comfy super-king sized beds, en suite bathrooms, squashy sofas, log fires, fully... We tried moving our own furniture in piece by piece, but Tim and Valerie found it. Then we tried booking the house all year round, but the building society said that, on the whole, they'd prefer it if we paid off our mortgage. So I guess, that if we absolutely must, we're going to have to learn to share Pollaughan... More

My family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pollaughan farms. Even though the weather didn't cooperate for our trip, the farm was still beautiful and relaxing. The two toddlers on our trip absolutely loved feeding the animals every morning (so did I!) and are still talking about Farmer Tim. Though I usually find myself homesick at the end of a... More

We had the most fabulous holiday here, could not fault it. The cottage was perfect for both adults and children, we had all the equipment and toys we needed for the two babies and little girl in our party and Tim and Valerie were so helpful throughout our stay. The finishing touches when we arrived were lovely and thoughtful, plus... More

Just had our 7th - or is it 8th - trip to Pollaughan and realised that we had never shared our experiences. We are lucky enough to be extremely well travelled - both for business reasons and by having family based in many continents - but there is something very special that brings us back here time and time again.... We have just spent a very relaxing & chilled out week at Pollaughan Farm. We stayed in Willows, and had a beautiful outlook over a small lake complete with a family of baby ducks! The accommodation is first rate, clean, comfortable and homely. A high hair, changing mat & cot were in place for our 2 year old along with... More

We cannot recommend Pollaughan Farm enough. The barns are beautifully decorated, well equipped and extremely comfortable, especially the beds. We have been staying here at least once a year for several years now and always have a fantastic time. The only difference on the last two visits is that we took our baby daughter. The first time she was just... More

My fiancée and I have just had a thoroughly enjoyable 1 week break at this wonderful place. What a find! From the off, I felt this was going to be a very special holiday and I was not disappointed as the stay progressed. Tim and Valerie were extremely welcoming and accommodating and it's clear they are doing something very right.... More
