We tried to stay in the Paradise Inn, in the park but it was sold out. We then picked this B&B option and were very pleased with it. The ghotel is old and very simple but, it had a alpine charm to it. The hotel is on the main road that ends at the Mt Rainier park and is not... More

We had a quiet time here. It is clean, quiet, the food is really good especially the lamb. And it is really close the park entrance. Hot tub had a view to the pond. I would advocate for more board games for a better games selection! thanks a bunch.

We have been going to Alexander's Country Inn since we had our wedding dinner there 3-1/2 years ago, which was AMAZING. The staff was attentive, the food was unbelievably fabulous, (I made the whole table watch as I cut my steak with my spoon!) the price was fantastic and we even got our own private dining area which we had... I have stayed here several times and love it! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rates are great and the location is unbeatable. Yes, it's old, but that's part of it's charm! It's great to spend the day on the mountain and return to Alexander's to have a delicious dinner in the dining room, relax in the jacuzzi... More

Everything was perfect! My room was extremely clean, warm and cozy. Unlike many bed and breakfasts the room was tidy and knickknack-free. Decor was slightly dated but in "new" condition: kind of like a stay at Grandma's house. The media room and parlor were warm and a fire was going in the fireplace. The hot tub was on and ready... I'm glad you found Alexander's cozy and warm and that you enjoyed your dinners at Alexander's Restaurant. The trout is a favorite --the secret is the fact that it is so fresh. We catch them, right in our pond, every day. Thank you for telling other TA members how much you enjoyed Alexander's. Bernadette More

We stayed at Alexanders for 1 night on our way from Seattle to Oregon. While our stay was not horrible, I do think that it is only fair to other reviewers to give the not so good things about our stay in addition to the good things. Good things first: great location to Mt. Rainier! Very comfortable bed and very... More

We sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. While Alexander's has limited hours and staffing during the winter, all of our guests should be greeted at check-in and shown to their room. (The only exception is late--past 9 pm--arrivals, when we leave a key and instructions for the guests.) During the off-season, Alexander's Restaurant does not serve dinner mid-week.... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights hear while hiking in Mt Rainier. The rooms as small and dated but clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was just a basic stall. It was fine for us because we were gone all day at the park doing long hikes Don't bother hurrying there for the "wine hour". It is the... More

We stayed in a petite suite at the Inn, it was spacious, clean and at the rear of the Inn so no road noise. The breakfasts were delicious as well as the dinner we had in the their restaurant for the two nights we stayed there. So good value for money. The staff at the Inn were very friendly and... More

I've stayed at this B&B on two other occasions, and had dinners here twice that often. The food is excellent. Alexander's is famous for two things: the fresh trout (grown in their own trout pond right behind the inn), and the blackberry pie. Oh my. I had the trout. My husband had the lamb and said it was perfect. We... More
