This place is amazingly beautiful and it's in a great location for the rest of Natchez but the lack of service lets it down. If you can forgive the rude lady on the front desk then the rooms in the house are worth the extra money and it's worth eating in the restaurant, the food was surprisingly good. More

I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful place. My room in the "courtyard" was very bright, I loved the open beam ceiling. The bed was massive and comfortable, the bathroom very clean and modern with a large jetted tub. I had dinner is the Castle restaurant and enjoyed it very much. I would come back and visit again. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main house! It was so beautiful with floor to ceiling windows and a fireplace. Note to owners - please do not turn the main floor rooms into guest rooms. It was so important to be able to see the main floor as it was so many years ago. This is such... More

This antebellum plantation house is a stunner. She is absolutely gorgeous to look at from the outside and the gardens are a delight to walk through. Unfortunately, we did not get to tour the house as one can only enter the rest of the house on a tour and we were to be gone before the tour commenced the next... More

During a recent stay in the main house I was stung by one of the wasps that shared my room with me. When I reported this to the front deask I was told that it would be handled by the General Manager who would call me later that morning on my cell phone. The day after I departed, never having... My wife and I stayed here this last July and for the cost that was the same as a room in one of the flavorless motels that litter the roadsides, we were able to stay in the Robert E Lee room on the second floor of this grand building set on many acres. Included in this price was a free... More

My husband and I stayed one night at a room on the river. We had read the reviews about the noise from the tavern below the room but we are young and stay up late so we felt it wouldn't be that big of deal. Plus, we really wanted to stay on the river. The plantation and room itself were... More

We had the misfortune to stay in the slave quarters (well, they called it the servants quarters, but it was awful). We had a cave-like room at the end of a totally dark brick corridor except for one bare lightbulb. It was like going into a dark hole. The room had windows, but I'm not sure why. They only looked... We had a delicious lunch in the Castle restaurant on the grounds of this historic hotel and decided to see about a room for the night. We stayed in The Dependence part of the Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our room and the whole evening. We would heartily recommend this hotel. More
