My husband I spent 3 nights at Paperbark creek in an original tent. We had a great time - the tents were luxurious and I loved how the showers were open to the sky. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. My hubby went canoeing, which he enjoyed, but as others have remarked, it was hard to get the canoe... More

My husband and I have just returned home from two beautiful nights at Paperbark. The tents are lovely with the basics supplied. If you can afford to stay in the deluxe tent, do it - bathing and looking at the tree tops was so relaxing, as was sitting out on the balcony with a book taking in the surroundings. The... More

Perfect...the tent, the bed (we slept), the bathroom (having a shower I looked out to see a wallaby cruising by) the peace & quiet & beauty of the location - we did have one day of rain (out of three) but the bush changes its reveal in this & the scents! The restaurant area was welcoming & the food fine.... More

Paper Bark Camp is a winner both in terms of concept as well as execution. In our case, it was a 9.6/10 and not 10/10 (i.e. excellent but not mind blowing). We stayed 3 nights. As very few travel accommodation experiences make it to a 9.6 in our book so I thought I'd take a few extra paragraphs to explain... More

Unique restaurant high up in the trees with even a possum poking his nose in briefly. Food interesting and nice. Wine a little pricey though. A great place to take visitors from overseas. Loved the risotto and the pâté.

Wonderful to return to Paperbark camp for a fantastic holiday in their superior tents near Huskisson. We lay in bed listening to the birds waking up, totally surrounded by tall paperbarks and eucalypts. It was magic. A leisurely breakfast in the tree house, the Gunyah, before setting off in kayaks to explore the creek. Next day we rode bikes, surfed,and... More

We stayed in an Original tent. Really nice staff, great accommodation and highly recommend for a nice weekend away. Unfortunately, our weekend away was washed out by really bad weather, though still nice to spend time on the deck. Things to note: -mosquito's are REALLY bad there, but each tent had fly-spray and repellent -DEFINITELY have dinner at their restaurant...FANTASTIC... More

My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic visit to Paperbark camp about a year ago. It was absolutely fantastic! I really loved the gorgous outdoor bathroom... so much care had been put into preparing the rooms, from the DEET-free mosquito repellant (very much needed! and very effective) to the very scene-setting mosquito net. free and freely available bikes and canoes... We have just returned from spending three nights at Paper Bark Camp. What a experience! It was not what I was expecting but in a good way. There were 3 of us my husband and I plus our 10 year old daughter. We had a normal tent which had a double bed and a double bed camp bed. Both beds... More
