As if the smell alone wasn't offensive enough, try the pool. Sand littered the bottom of the pool and one sketchy lounge chair graced the pool deck, along with a varuois variety of plastic chairs of course. I booked online and prepaid. Sometimes you win at this game (sight unseen) and sometimes you don't.

I can only rate The Loredo as average. While it was clean and tidy, there weren't any features that stood out or would want me to stay there again. It was reasonably quiet and as a female travelling alone for work, I did feel reasonably safe.

We loved the Loredo - owners extremely friendly and helpful. Spa pool lovely after long days walking. Beds very comforatble and good bedding. Large en-suite. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Kitchen well equipped. Short walk to Kaitaia.

I stay here as first choice when working up north. free wifi. friendly hosts, quiet clean rooms. plenty of parking if towing a trailer. Sky tv. rooms have good kitchens if you want to make a meal otherwise its not too far to The Bushmans Hut or KFC for dinner.

this was our first experience of staying in a motel and it was fine. We stayed one night and had our breakfast delivered next morning - we'd pre ordered it as we weren't too sure what to expect from staying in a motel. We'd booked a studio unit and it was spotless - a very good start to our holidays.

Great hotel in the far north....I have stayed here several times for business and its always very clean and tidy. The unlimited free internet is great for me working at night and the spa is very good to relieve the back from all the driving...

First time in Kaitaia. Work booked this as it was the only place in town left, however it was clean, comfortable, and bigger than expected. All amenities as expected, and warm welcome upon arrival. Didn't get time to use the spa or anything, but it looks like a great base for exploring the far north.
