Dannemora Motor Inn is a well presented, well equiped spacious motor inn. I had a group of 13 people stay for 2 weeks on a job in Auckland. All rooms were tidied very well daily, and all staff were treated well by the friendly hosts. Our team were very complimentary in regards to the presentation and fitout of the rooms... More

The units were clean and looked well kept on arrival. Stefan, the manager was helpful when approached for anything. The only issue was the lack of a working cable tv and hearing all the neighbours' activities (toilet humour, someone had a nasty cough etc)! Although I am sure that they heard our at times noisy kids and shouting parents! More

Thanks for your comments Anna. We'll be checking that all TVs are tuned correctly to all available channels. Its a shame your neighbour's noisiness disturbed your stay. We thank you again for your feedback. More

Firstly, the SKY TV did not work properly (stuck on menu page). Offered to fix it for them free of charge (having a working background in broadcasting with the BBC, amongst others), only to find that the technical setup was such a shambles that I didn't want to touch it for fear of making it any worse than it already... The most noisiest motel I have ever stayed in. Yes we were expecting street noises due to proximity of major road. Boy racers, sirens etc but we were not expecting to hear the bathroom activities of the people above & beside us. every-time they used the toilet we heard it all.. yes it all. tinkle tinkle, flush, wash hands. Absolutely... More

Lovely big modern rooms with comfortable beds. Great showers- with good pressure. Location is good- close to great nearby mall Botany Shopping Centre and Botany Junction is just a short walk. Nice big park 5 minutes down the road. A few minutes drive to nearby beaches. What I liked best were the managers- who were so obliging and considerate (we... More

The owner should not be in this line of business. I phoned early (0620) looking for accommodation on my way out of Christchurch. Before I could even explain my early call I was asked "Why are you phoning at this hour?". Naturally I didn't bother continuing the conversation, phoned another place and spoke to a very helpful gentleman. I travel... More

We had a very enjoyable stay with our ten week old baby on a nostalgia trip to Auckland. The one bedroom unit was great as it allowed us to put the baby in the bedroom and to still watch tv and use the lovely spa bath etc. The unit was lovely and clean and serviced daily. The extra touch of... More

Value for money, especially with continental breakfast as part of the price, very clean, warm, quiet units. Loved the spa bath. Excellent service with a very accommodating, friendly and relaxed manner of the managers. Would definately book in again. More

My wife, son and I stayed at Dannemora Motor inn for four nights. The trip was unforseen and at very short notice. But Noel and Marg went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. It was my son and wifes first trip to Auckland and we could not have asked for a better first impression.... More

We came as family from Australia and stayed in Dannemora inn for majority of 3 weeks of our holiday. We felt as if we were in our home. No difference. Because the Inn made as feel like we are in home. It was so comfortable. Closer to most of the amneties. It was run by Avionne, a nice lady, who... More
