It's an old hotel, cheap but the room was okay. Nice king bed, fridge and shower. Breakfast didn't mean much. Pity that the pool wasn't clean. And it wasn't nice and cosy.

We are driving home from FL to MA and have now stayed in 3 Econo Lodge Hotels. The first was Macon GA and it was terrible. The room was worn and outdated and the rug was dirty and stained. The blanket on my bed had holes and dog hair all over. The bath had old and broken fixtures and leaking...

You get what you pay for, and sometimes less. This hotel works for the seasoned traveler with modest expectations. Fresh fruit would go a long way toward making the continental breakfast adequate. The location is the best thing going for anyone wanting to be close to the historic district (most of which is to the east about a mile).

This motel was one of many hotels we stayed in on our roadtrip from South Florida to Western Colorado. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in - the area did not look very safe, the room was disgustingly dirty, and the bathroom was gross and filthy to say the least. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and...
