I was excited to stay at such a highly-rated hotel in Albuquerque, but was sorely disappointed. The owner was nice and the room was clean, but that's all I could say for it. My husband couldn't sleep all night because of the loud road noise in this not-so-nice location. There were only a couple of other guests, which didn't surprise... More

From the moment we checked in until we left the next day, everything went well. The owner / manager is a trip! She is excited about her place and takes a great deal of pride in it and your enjoyment of it. Rooms are clean and well kept, location is near Old Town, price is incredible and Kay is a... More

I took a chance on this place because it was reasonably priced and had such a high approval score. This was indeed a pleasant surprise. The owner is a kick and the little motel just oozes pride of ownership. Sheets are clean and sweet smelling, Bathrooms are well scrubbed. Breakfast is continental Plus and always fresh. There is a popular... More

Kay, the owner of the Sandia Peak Inn, is one of the most delightful and accomodating managers I have ever met. Her rooms are spotless, breakfast is excellent, and she goes out of her way to be helpful. This motel is close to Old Town and many other attractions! You can't beat the price. More

The Sandia Peak Inn Motel is very well located on one of the main streets in Albuquerque and has all the ammenities... But the real plus is the owner Kay who with her husband goes out of her way to accommodate guests' every need.... She even brought me a cup of coffee after the free breakfast room had closed.....I would... More

We never would have found this place without your reviews on Trip Advisor. So thank you. This place is even better than we expected. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, attractive, great and very interesting service from Kay the owner, centrally located and extremely reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there on a return visit. Due to it's rating on Tripadvisor.com we stayed here. It was clean and a little funky with the unique light fixtures. Kay treated us very well and I would recommend it. We were visiting from BC Canada and did a circle tour of New Mexico in 10 days hitting Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell, White Sands. Santa Fe and Taos and this... More

Big, clean, well appointed room with a good bed. The owner, Kay, made our stay very pleasant. Motel is on old Rt. 66 close to “Old Downtown”. It would have been perfect if not for the surprising amount of traffic (and noise) on the old Rt. 66 four lane during the night. More

We stayed at the Sandia Peak Inn for one night in april 2012. We booked a room with two queen beds for two adults and one kid. We got a friendly welcome at check-in by a helpful lady. The room was an average size motel room with a large flat screen TV set, fridge, microwave and free Wi-Fi. The water... More
